Lost, somewhere in the world
G’day, I’m Nat Ritmeyer, a test automation guy living and working in London, UK. I’ve been a contractor/consultant for clients in the UK and Australia for around 10 years, normally introducing test automation or fixing it where it previously hasn’t worked so well. Lately I’ve been focusing on introducing agile testing techniques to clients and also on writing test automation software. Some previous clients in the UK include the BBC and Nokia; in Australia, Virgin Blue Airlines and Westpac Bank.
History
I was born in Israel, the son of two European expat archaeologists, and went to a French school until I was involuntarily dragged to the UK’s grim north. After suffering a British education, I escaped to Australia where I got married, visited beaches and wineries, and concentrated on avoiding being killed by the wildlife. A few years went by as I worked in various cities down under, before I realized that the UK wasn’t so bad after all. We flew back, eventually making our way to London!
